Before I decided to run I had a lot of questions I needed to answer. Did I have the time to serve my ward well? How would being a council member affect my responsibilities to my family and to my church? And, how much is this going to cost?
The first questions I answered with my family. To answer the last question, I asked people who have done it before. Their answer? Even if I plan to conduct a primarily person to person campaign, expenses will still cost thousands.
