In a letter to the City of Blue Ash, Grand Communities LLC, a Fischer Group Company, withdrew its application to re-zone a portion of land along Kenwood Road to allow for the development of townhomes.
The development, to be named Summit Pointe, called for construction of twenty-two units on the three-acre site on the West side of Kenwood Road north of Pfeiffer Road. The developer stated that the units would be priced beginning at $400,000.
Though the Planning Commission had approved the Initial Development Plan with conditions, the proposal met with broad concern during a public hearing at the January 12 meeting of City Council.
Later during the meeting Council Representatives were united in concerns about the project.
City Council is scheduled to meet at their next regular meeting Thursday, January 26 at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers. The proposed agenda and supporting material is available on the City website.

Is it true there won’t be Friday night concerts this summer in Downtown Blue Ash? I knew it was being redeveloped, but expected the concerts to be held at one of the other park spaces.

Yes. During renovations to Towne Square Park this summer, Friday night concerts will be on hiatus. The concerts will return in the summer of 2024.
