The Blue development project at the corner of Cooper and Kenwood Roads is progressing. At their meeting last week, the Planning Commission approved the initial concept of a Planned Unit Development for the site. The City Council has scheduled a public hearing for 7:05 PM on Thursday, August 14th. Interested citizens are invited to attend to learn more about the project and offer feedback. Indoor Pickleball Now Available at Blue Ash Rec Center
Parks and Recreation Director Brian Cruise told City Council that Pickleball was now available at the Blue Ash Recreation Center in the Blue Gym Monday-Friday from 1-4 pm. At the January 13 Blue Ash City Council Meeting, the Council heard the first reading of an ordinance that would allow Low Speed Vehicles on City streets. Council members supporting the move, chose to advance a version that would allow these vehicles on any roads permitted by state law. A more restrictive version that confined the vehicles to roads with speed limits of 25 mph or less was dropped. Final action could be taken at the February 10 City Council meeting.
