The developers of the Kenwood/Cooper Corner, now dubbed “the BLUE”, are hosting an open house on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 4343 Cooper Road. Interested citizens are invited to attend to learn more about the project and offer feedback. Parks and Recreation Director Brian Cruise told City Council that Pickleball was now available at the Blue Ash Recreation Center in the Blue Gym Monday-Friday from 1-4 pm. At the January 13 Blue Ash City Council Meeting, the Council heard the first reading of an ordinance that would allow Low Speed Vehicles on City streets. Council members supporting the move, chose to advance a version that would allow these vehicles on any roads permitted by state law. A more restrictive version that confined the vehicles to roads with speed limits of 25 mph or less was dropped. Final action could be taken at the February 10 City Council meeting.

Long-time Blue Ash staffer, Mike Duncan, reported to City Council that starting in February the AARP Foundation will be offering free tax filing assistance in the area. Beginning in February people will be able to make an appointment for an in-person meeting at the Sharonville Community Center (513) 563-2895.

Hamilton County established a website where people can find COVID relief resources. You can access all of the resources at 513relief.org. There you will be able to access programs to help with housing, small businesses, employment, vaccination and testing and more. If you are a home owner, know that changes to the programing now allows some residents to receive assistance with mortgages and property taxes.
