Register to Vote / Confirm Registration

You can’t vote if you are not registered.  Here’s how:

• Register online, by mail, or in-person.
• The deadline to register is 30 days before an election.
• You can check that you are already registered through the Hamilton County Board of Elections.
• If you have a new name or address, you must update your registration.

Vote By Mail

Many people find that voting by mail is safe, convenient, and ensures that nothing can happen on Election Day that can prevent them from voting.

Vote In Person Before Election Day

Anyone registered to vote in Ohio and living in Hamilton County can come to the board of elections offices starting about four weeks prior to an election.
